Mark down another win for Missouri.

Thanks to a convincing victory, Team Missouri took an 11-7 all-time series lead in the annual Metro Classic Senior All-Star Dual. Missouri came out on top with a 36-27 decision in the 18th meeting of the all-star high school wrestling event March 10 at Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Park Hill’s three state champions — Alan Waters (119 pounds), Kaleb Friedley (145) and John Eblen (189) — each won their individual matchups against their Kansas counterparts at the battle of the border. Lawson’s Devin Mellon (215) also walked away victorious. Kearney’s Cody Pierce lost by fall to Derrick Weller of Piper in the 135-pound match.
